Il quadrante di questo modello limited edition trae ispirazione da un intricato motivo che il fondatore di Seiko, Kintaro Hattori, fece incidere sugli orologi da tasca importati nei primi anni dell'azienda. Il quadrante del modello King Seiko combina un motivo finemente inciso con un profondo gradiente di grigio, creando una sensazione di profondità e raffinatezza e conferendo all'orologio la capacità di attirare l'attenzione di colui che lo possiede.
