L'orologio KING SEIKO SJE105J1 combina un quadrante piatto con indici sfaccettati e lancette “Diamond Cut” per riprendere con precisione le caratteristiche essenziali del modello originale degli anni '60. Il suo nuovo design, più sottile, riprende il design originale del KSK, tagliente e spigoloso, con anse larghe e finiture abbaglianti. Questo modello è dotato del calibro top di gamma 6L35. L'esclusivo quadrante blu adotta un caratteristico motivo pressato - “Kameido-Kikko” - ispirato al luogo di nascita del marchio King Seiko: Kameido a Tokyo. Le forme ripetute e strutturate sono state progettate per assomigliare a un insieme di gusci di tartaruga. Un tempo Kameido era un'isola a forma di guscio di tartaruga e veniva chiamata “Kamejima” o “Isola delle tartarughe”. In molti Paesi dell'Asia orientale le tartarughe sono venerate come creature divine e in Giappone sono considerate simbolo di longevità e fortuna.
